New Town is situated in the North Eastern Fringes of Kolkata and is fast emerging as one of India’s latest and fastest-growing planned new cities. It is situated adjacent to Salt Lake City and is in close proximity to the Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport, Kolkata. The town has planned population of 1 million with a proposed 0.5 million additional floating population. Around 12000 dwelling units have already been constructed and a further 16000 dwelling units are under construction. The 6th and 5th floor of the Finance Centre, an asset of WEST BENGAL HOUSING INFRASTRUCTURE DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION LTD., (WBHIDCO), situated just opposite the Central Gate of the Eco Park, was identified for establishing this WAX MUSEUM. The 6th and 5th Floor of Finance Centre is around 26000 Sq.ft of an area dedicated to the Mother’s WAX Museum.

There are two photo galleries in the ground floor while one walks working into the WAX Museum. The entry lobby at 6th floor has been paved with beautiful designed blue tiles and exit lobby at 5th floor with red tiles. There are 52 - 53 WAX models of eminent personalities. The total WAX Museum has been divided into separate sections and each specially designed along with the light profile of the eminent personalities.
The Mother’s WAX Museum essentially is a centre forum where the visitors and fans of celebrities can take their selected photographs and selfis. It is a place for great photo remembrance with your loved ones. You may also choose to take your own posture with props to generate a unique photo with your celebrities.
One may buy exclusive souvenir and memories from the readily shape of Mother’s WAX Museum. It is a great fun to bear the Cap or T-shirt and Autograph by your celebrities. Full family can stand within large format Kolkata Frames in the ground floor lobby & get a snap with exclusive Kolkata Sketches in the background.
There are two Cafeteria on either side of the Mother’s Wax Museum with an open terrace where visitors can buy Bonsai Tree and can sit to have a perspective view of entire Eco Park and have share their leisure time in the adjacent Cafeteria.
